“Quick Start” – How to Begin with FIN AI

1. 🚪 Log In
Visit app.fin-boto.com to log in or create your account. You can access FIN AI via:

Telegram Bot — for quick voice input of transactions.
Desktop Platform — for in-depth financial analysis and management.
2. 🏦 Creating Accounts

Each account represents a separate balance.
Follow these steps to create a new account:
Click the “+” button in the accounts panel.
Fill out the following fields in the “Add New Account” window:
Currency: Choose a currency (e.g., USD, EUR).
Account Name: Assign a clear name, such as “Checking Account” or “Cash.”
Starting Balance: Enter the initial balance amount.
Click “Create”. The account will appear in the list and be available for transactions.
3. 📂 Editing Categories
Categories in FIN AI help you personalize your financial management. They are divided into income categories and expense categories.

How to Manage Categories:
Open the “Categories” section.
Add new categories relevant to your spending and income (e.g., “Fitness,” “Gifts”).
Edit or remove categories you don’t plan to use.
4. ✍️ Adding Your First Manual Transaction
Manually adding transactions lets you record expenses or income that aren’t automatically imported.

Steps to Create a Transaction:
Navigate to the “MyFin” tab.
Click “Create Payment.”
Complete the fields:
Transaction Type: Choose “Expense,” “Income,” or “Transfer.”
Amount: Enter the transaction amount and currency.
Date: Select the date and time.
Description: Provide a short name, like “Utility Bill Payment.”
Account: Select the account the transaction belongs to.
Category: Choose the relevant category.
Click “Save.” The transaction will be saved in your list of records.
5. 📑 Bulk Importing Bank Statements

To upload data via FIN AISort:
Go to the “FinImport” section on the desktop platform.
Prepare your statement file in one of these formats:
Google Sheets (.xlsx, .ods) or CSV (comma-separated).
Use the ready-to-go Google Sheets template available in the “FinImport” section.
Fill in the mandatory fields:
Transaction Name: A brief description (e.g., “Rent Payment”).
Date: Use the YYYY-MM-DD format.
Amount: Numeric value.
Currency: Specify the currency (e.g., USD, EUR).
Upload the file. Transactions will be automatically categorized by AI.
6. 💡 Tips for Getting Started
• Use the Telegram Bot for fast voice transaction input.
• Regularly review spending analytics in the “Dashboard” section.
• Set reminders to log transactions to keep your data up to date.
